OpenStreetMap Uganda prepared a Second remote mapping task to align and modify recently collected data from the field survey in Ggaba. The event was held at KCCA city with several key government stakeholders from KCCA, UBOS, OPM and the community coming together to contribute the data to OSM. Fresh UAV imagery taken by GeoGecko was used for mapping.
The training and support was done together with HOT Uganda and representation from GeoGecko. Several tasks were mapped that day and there was a visit from the Lord Mayor who came in to check on what the team was doing.
